What to Expect

The space shared between a therapist and a client is sacred and to be protected. Coming into therapy with me, you can expect a warm and non-judgmental space for you to inhabit as you choose.

Whether you are coming in for relationship issues, childhood trauma or depression— it’s your journey, and I am just voyaging with you along the way.

I offer multi-culturally aware services to individuals and couples. Currently, my clinical focuses are depression, anxiety, relationship issues, breaking free from people pleasing, boundary work, life transitions, perinatal/postpartum mood disorders and adult children of emotionally immature parents. To ensure that care is most appropriate for the individual or couple, I pull from an expansive toolbox of therapy modalities including Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Compassion Focused Care.

Clients coming into session with me will find that I value a strong therapeutic alliance and prioritize mutual trust. Rather than taking the position of observer, I aim to walk alongside you as you navigate the stressors and pain in your life. You will find that while I am light-hearted and relaxed, I am respectful and considerate to the delicate information that you share.

Our sessions will highlight values, self-actualization, and developing a greater grace and love for yourself.
